Fall OOTDs: Button Up Blouse

Whenever I had to brave the cold and actually leave the comfort of my own living room the past days I found myself drawn to one clothing item. The button up blouse! For some reason it’s the most comfortable yet chicest option for transitioning into winter since they can be worn on their own or layered under coats. There are so many different styles so I thought I’d share with you how I styled three different buttom ups.

The Modern Style:

I got this olive green blouse from Zara. The fabric is really light yet it’s kind of a denim style. Though it gets wrinkley really fast it’s an amazing quality. I paired this top with grey jeans from hollister and my current favorite velvet boots from Steve Madden. The handbag is by Michael kors and keeps the whole look in a more modern mono chromatic style with a slight pop of color thanks to the olive green blouse.

I felt like a ponytail with my freshly cut bangs falling loosely and a small gold necklace were the only thing needed to finish this look.

The Boyfriend Style:

This charcoal grey baggy boyfriend button up is from Zara as well. The fabric is really heavy and thick and therefore winter appropriate. To make the whole look more feminine I let my wild mane do it’s thing, put on a layer of red lipstick and added a black necklace. The most fun extra detail though is the lace top peeking out under the button up. You can decide how much you want to show and it defiantly adds a touch of feminity to this all together more tomboy-ish look.

To keep the edgy vibe I decided to wear ripped denim jeans by hollister and add a big white handbag (by Michael kors) as well as my beloved Steve Madden „editt“ boots.

The classic style:

Lastly, the classic! This striped button down is by H&M and the blazer is from Mango. I opted for minimal but glowy makeup, pulled back hair and a long graphic arrow necklace to loosen up the stripes.

Much needed coffee break…. though I was sad I didn’t get a red cup haha. The taupe boots I’m wearing are from a local no name store and the brown crossbody bag (which is barely visible) is, again, from Michael kors. Can you tell I have a thing for MK bags ?
